Four core commodity groups
PT Agora Africa Marketing works across four principal commodity groups, each selected for its relevance to the trade corridors we operate and the industrial sectors we serve. Supply within each group is structured to the buyer's specification, including grade, format, volume and delivery schedule.

Commodities Supporting industrial supply across multiple sectors
Our commodity range reflects the bilateral nature of the trade corridors we operate. Africa produces chrome, recovered carbon black and agricultural commodities that are in demand in South East Asian industrial markets. South East Asia produces chemicals and fertilisers that are in demand in African agricultural and industrial markets.
PT Agora does not operate a fixed catalogue. The four commodity groups below represent our current primary focus. Where a buyer's requirement falls outside this range but within our sourcing capability, we will assess the opportunity and respond accordingly. We are particularly interested in expanding our commodity coverage in both directions as our supplier and buyer networks develop.
Recovered carbon black
Recovered carbon black (rCB) is produced by the controlled thermal decomposition of end-of-life tyres in a low-oxygen or oxygen-free environment. The process recovers carbon black as a primary product alongside steel wire, oil and gas.
rCB can substitute for virgin carbon black in a range of rubber and polymer applications, and its supply as a recovered material supports circular economy objectives in the tyre and rubber sector. PT Agora supplies rCB in raw, processed and value-added forms depending on the buyer's in-house processing capability and end-use requirements.
Chrome
Chrome ore (chromite) is a key industrial mineral used primarily in the production of ferrochrome, the essential ingredient in stainless steel manufacture. South African chromite deposits are among the world's largest, making sub-Saharan Africa a primary sourcing region for the global chrome trade.
PT Agora sources chrome from African mining operations and supplies it to metallurgical buyers in South East Asia and other markets. Both lumpy ore and processed concentrate grades are available depending on the buyer's smelting process and grade requirements.
Chemicals
PT Agora's chemicals category covers two principal groups: agricultural inputs, primarily fertilisers for the African farming sector, and industrial chemicals for mining and processing applications.
Both segments represent significant and recurring import demand in Africa, creating a well-defined supply corridor from South East Asian producers to African end-users. PT Agora manages sourcing, documentation and logistics for both categories, including the regulatory and import compliance requirements specific to chemical products.
Grains
Maize is one of Africa's most important staple crops and a significant commodity in both the domestic food supply chain and the export market. PT Agora engages in maize grain supply for food production and seed use, operating within the formal trade and certification framework required for both categories.
For food-grade maize, quality parameters including moisture content, aflatoxin levels and grain condition are central to the supply specification. For seed maize, phytosanitary certification, germination rate and varietal documentation are required. PT Agora manages these documentation requirements as part of the supply programme.
Commodity sourcing built around your specific technical and commercial needs.
PT Agora Africa Marketing connects genuine commodity demand with suitable supply opportunities across Africa, South East Asia and international markets. We help buyers source the right products, support suppliers seeking new markets and coordinate the commercial process from initial enquiry through to delivery planning.
